Keep On
A poem
Keep on praying– While the world's still spinning. Keep on writing– When life seems too busy. Keep on believing– That something will make sense of this mess. Keep on dancing– To the rhythm of God’s blessing. Keep on singing– Even without a voice. Keep on smiling– Because you still have a choice… Life won’t stop going Till Jesus comes riding– Coming down on the cloud, With the sound of trumpets playing. As long as you’re still breathing There’s a reason to keep on moving. Don’t sit waiting– Wasting the night away to a sorrowful tune of “What could be.” Instead, rise and pray For God's will to be done. You’ve got a destiny– Worth discovering. You’ve got a calling– Worth protecting. It’s innocent, pure, and holy. Appreciate the baby steps— You’re growing. Some things may come– When you’re not expecting. Other days may seem discouraging. Remain steadfast— Don’t look back— You’re moving onward and upward There’s nothing you will lack. God’s way is a mystery. But He is always revealing The way to victory. Christ’s love is enduring– He’ll hold you through the pruning, Hold you in your healing– And cheer you on in your growing. As long as you’re still breathing– Keep on blooming.
Foundation Scripture:
Not that I have already attained,or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 3:12-14 NKJV
Personal Reflection:
I’ll be perfectly honest. At the time I’m writing this post, I just got home from a really long week of work and serving at my church. I’m tired, haha. And I wasn’t expecting to do any writing. But I put my hands on the computer keys and this poem just kind of happened (I was going to pull something old, lol) but thank you, Jesus, for giving me these words to write!
It’s been a good week, even though it was very busy. But it was full of new [good] challenges and opportunities that God has put me in. I haven’t felt the “most confident” due to everything feeling very brand new to me but…
I’m still moving forward.
Life’s changing pretty quickly, but what I do feel confident about is that God is doing a good work within me that He is determined to finish (Philippians 1:6). That promise alone gives me peace through the uncertain moments and gives me confidence that I am growing in new, exciting ways in my life.
So long as I’m still waiting for Jesus to come riding on that cloud, I’m here to do what He asks of me with confidence that He’s walking with me and helping me grow in ways beyond my own understanding.
Thank you all for reading! God Bless

This should be turned into a song. 😆😆
Aww, such a great message! And I love your story behind it too. Praise God!
