Merissa, I am filled with utmost joy. I am truly reminded of the steady love of the Father. Sometimes, there is a struggle with the fear of loosing what we already have in Christ because of the jaded world we live in, but your story is a perfect reminder of the truth.
"....but the chapter about the lady with the lost coin has a bunch of other stories like that. God seeking, finding, and rejoicing. Over and over again, he sought, found, and rejoiced. Not once does it mention getting lost “again” or remaining lost. No, everyone is always found." ❤️
Wonder filled story and I think this sentence from your prose hit the nail on the head... Kissing my forehead again he simply said, “It’s love. Love finds us and keeps us forever, whether we like it or not. With love, we can never be lost.”
My “you are found by love” story: when I was a little girl, I would fall asleep on the floor downstairs. My father would come along, pick me up, and carry me up to bed. As we were going up the stairs, I would barely wake up…but I knew I was in my father’s arms…and I felt perfect peace and love. The memory of that love still folds me in love and peace.
Thank you for such a beautiful story. It reminded me of my own personal memory.
Aw, that is absolutely beautiful, Nancye! So very special and precious. There is nothing like that feeling of peace and love that comes from a father 💜 Thank you so much for sharing ... it blessed me tonight 💜
Merissa, this compelling, lovely, and thought provoking. It reminds me of just how sacred writing is for us and how sacred we are to God. He came after us, sacrificed His life for us so we would live in and with Him forever. We are set apart. I thoroughly enjoyed this. Thank you for sharing your gift with us🙏🏾
Thank you so much, Andrea! Your words are very sweet thank you 💜💜 I love sharing the Heart of the Father in writing, it truly is an honor and something that I won't ever stop doing 💜 Thank you so much for reading!
